Office of the Dean of Students

The programs and services of the Office of the Dean of Students, within UGA’s Division of Student Affairs, seek to enhance the educational experience for all students and to help build a sense of campus community. Programming within the dean’s office is organized into four organizational units –Student Support Services, Student Veterans Resource Center, Tate Student Center and Tate Business Services. The dean also serves as the chair of the Behavioral Assessment and Response Council, a group of key campus administrators who assess and determine the appropriate response to students who exhibit threatening behavior to themselves and/or others.
