The Office of Institutional Diversity is seeking nominations of undergraduate students for participation in the Leaders Engaged in Affirming Diversity (LEAD) Fellows Program. LEAD is a year-long fellowship program that allows students to enhance their leadership competencies, explore various facets of diversity, and exhibit knowledge of diversity and inclusion leadership. LEAD Fellows will review current literature on diversity and leadership, participate in group discussions on current diversity issues, engage with campus and local leaders, and maintain a portfolio of critical reflections. Ten students will be selected as fellows for the 2018-2019 academic year.
Students selected for the fellowship must be sophomores or juniors during the 2018-2019 academic year and have a 3.0 GPA or higher. Strong candidates will demonstrate an interest in diversity leadership and articulate a desire to benefit from and contribute to the fellowship.
